  1. Bounty flavour- coconut sponge (vanilla with desiccated coconut) with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting with desiccated coconut sprinkled on top <3

  2. Marmite flavour! Like salt caramel marmite and chocolate really compliment each other. And it'd cause some serious controversy!

  5. Lemon Meringue Pie / A sponge filled with a lemon curd filling and instead of icing have a whipped/toasted meringue on the top!

  6. Jaffa cake! A vanilla sponge with an orange filling, and a choc orange frosting!

  7. Beetroot, dark chcocolate and raspberry. I've made these before in brownie format and they came out as a gorgeous dark pinky purpley colour. The slight bitterness of the dark chococolate, savoury beetroot and sweet raspberry work perfectly together. Plus they can definitely pass as being healthy!
They could be presented like a black forest gateau, with the beetroot & chocolate sponge topped with raspberries and dark chocolate shavings...

  8. I'd love you to make toffee apple cupcakes. Sponge with apple, cinnamon and pinch of cloves (?) topped with vanilla buttercream with caramel/toffee sauce swirled through it (or just toffee buttercream if it isn't too sickly) and if you're feeling fancy some spun sugar on top.

  9. Hmmm don't know if we're allowed to suggest more than one but I'm on maternity leave and find myself spending more time than is normal fantasising about eating cake!! If we are allowed more than one suggestion then here are some more:

    Retro sweet inspired cupcakes -

Swizzels double dip flavour - either orange sponge and cherry buttercream or vice versa or half orange and half cherry sponge. Then vanilla buttercream dipped in the orange and cherry sherbets and decorated with a swizzel stick.

Rhubarb and custard (maybe rhubarb compote centre and custard flavour buttercream decorated with rhubarb sauce)

And then another I thought would be nice - white chocolate and rose

    Okay I'll stop now!!

  10. Oooh so many amazing flavours to choose from!

I'd say a cocktail inspired flavour ahead of summer! Bellini flavour would be awesome - champagne sponge with a peach buttercream and a peach puree centre.

  11. A decadent blend of vanilla cheesecake chunks and rich chocolate sponge surrounding a soft honey core. Topped with white chocolate buttercream it shall be called The Honey Badger! Nom Nom

  12. Rolo Cupcake
Chocolate sponge with a caramel centre, caramel flavoured buttercream topping and a rolo on top!

  13. Pina Colada cupcakes - coconut sponge, pineapple juice and rum icing and a little palm tree leaf made out of roll-out icing to garnish the top...or a maraschino cherry?! Non-alcoholic versions could be made without rum...

  14. I've thought of another one (sorry!)
Chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes: chocolate or vanilla sponge (either would taste nice) with a ball of cookie dough in the middle. Cookie dough frosting (sugar/butter/flour/milk/vanilla extract) with chocolate chips and perhaps a tiny cookie on top!

  15. Apple crumble: Apple cake sponge with crumble pieces and a bit of cinnamon. Then vanilla buttercream to represent the custard.
